I've been in a really tough place with the unthinkable happening to me. At first I asked why God me, how could this possibly happen to me? Now I've finally realized I should never ask why, but instead ask how. How can I learn from this, how can I change, and how can I use this experience to help others. It's not easy when you are faced with terrible situations but it's much harder when you don't let your past go and realize you can't fix yourself only God can. The only thing you can do as a person of God is to live in grace and embrace your second chance to do better this time around.

The moment I stopped caring what other people thought, the moment I truly became alive as me

"People in your life are seasons, and everything that happens is for a reason." Love the man who said this and love how true this is.. people change so much and so do you as a person.. But I love it.

You can't change the past but you can change the future and not make the same mistake again..wise words from a friend that I needed to hear. I tend to dwell on the past and why I did something or what was I thinking and I need to not do that. Yes I made a mistake and regret it but I can't change it at all so embrace it and learn the lesson from the mistake. I need to think this way more and not beat myself up over the past. Thank you my friend <3
